1This broker green icon, this means that we trust the broker. These are the current leaders of industry of brokers, and where most of the traders are trading today. Fraud, robbery, and bad websites
Among the many Forex broker reviews we conducted, Markets.com was one of the best. Here is our Markets.com review.
Markets.com is operated by Safecap Investments Limited – a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) which is licensed and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under license number 092/08. Markets.com is licensed and regulated under the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive MiFID, an EU law that establishes harmonized safe-practice benchmarks for investment services across the EEA. In order to be MiFID compliant, Markets.com adheres to strict regulatory guidelines.
First Impressions of Markets.com
The first thing I like to look at when reviewing a broker is the website. After all, that is the initial impression I get and we all know how important those impressions are. Markets.com has just rebranded its site and has added several exciting platforms for the enthusiastic Forex trader. The website has always been intuitive, user friendly andinformative but with its new additions, it really stands out as a top Forex broker.
The site is well designed and all the information one needs is clearly marked and easily located. One of the important things you will immediately notice on the home page of Markets.com is that you can open a real account or a free practice account with $100,000 demo money. You can also view a very well made video tutorial of how to use the various trading platforms offered by Markets.com.
What Markets.com Offers Forex Traders
As with it’s old website, the new Markets.com website allows a trader to easily deposit funds via credit card, bank transfer, or Web money In addition, Markets.com provides the infrastructure for the trader to trade indices, gold, oil, stocks, commodities, and of course currencies.
In terms of the trading itself, Markets.com offers a pretty standard 200:1 trading leverage and decent spreads for the majors. I have to mention though, that some of the spreads listed for other pairs reached levels of 300 pips, but only for very rare currency pairs.
A nice unique feature I have rarely seen before is the ability to choose between fixed or dynamic (floating) spreads. Markets.com was one of the first brokers to offer traders this option, and this is one thing that truly separates the Markets.com Forex broker from the rest.
When it comes to the trading platforms, Markets.com also displays complete flexibility. They offer several downloadable platforms, including its own Meta Trader, Market Auto Trader and Market Mobile Trader, which offers mobile Forex trading for users of iPhones, Androids and all smart phones.
The site also offers some basic Forex education as well as market analysison both technical and fundamental spheres.
Contrary to many other brokers, Markets.com makes it completely easy and even enjoyable to contact them. There are phone numbers, emails, and even an instant chat right from the home page, which was truly appreciated during this Markets.com review.
Markets.com has offices in over 30 locations worldwide and representativesare available 24/5. Markets.com is EU regulated under CySEC (092/08) and registered with such global regulatory authorities as the FSA and other EEA financial licensing bodies.
Markets.com was recognized by the Middle-East Forex Expo and named 2010’s Fastest Growing Broker Award, and we can certainly see why.
All in all, Markets.com is one step ahead of the game in online Forex trading and is strongly solidifying its place as a leading Forex broker for the long term.
